Leads & Jobs

Sending your first quote

Tap a lead, type the labour days and materials, send. Customer gets a branded PDF with a one-click Accept button.

The quote builder is designed to be filled in from your van in under two minutes. No spreadsheets, no Word documents, no faff.

Building the quote

  1. Go to Leads in your dashboard and tap the customer you want to quote.
  2. Tap Quote Job.
  3. Fill in the basics:
    • Labour days and your day rate
    • Materials cost (just the total — itemising isn't required)
    • Job description (one paragraph is plenty)
    • Optional: proposed start date
  4. The VAT toggle adds 20% if you're VAT registered — turn it on if needed.
  5. Hit Send Quote.

What the customer gets

A branded PDF in their email with your logo, your details, the line items, the total, and a big orange View & Accept Your Quote button. They click it on their phone, see the quote on a clean web page, tap Accept.

What happens when they accept

  • You get a WhatsApp ping: "Mike Patel accepted your £1,128 quote"
  • The lead automatically moves from Quoted to Booked
  • A deposit invoice can be generated with one tap
  • The job appears in your calendar

Tips that win more quotes

  • Send same day. Quotes sent within 24 hours convert 3× better than week-old ones.
  • Set a job date in the quote. Customers booking the slot mentally are far more likely to accept.
  • Keep descriptions specific. "Replace consumer unit, fit new RCD, test and certify" wins over "electrical work".
