Getting set up

MyTradeSite is built so a tradesman can have a finished website without any web design knowledge. You see it before you pay a penny.

The 3 steps

1. Pick your trade. Plumber, electrician, builder, roofer — 29 trades supported. Your services and a starting set of pages auto-populate based on what tradesmen in your line actually need.
2. Add your details. Business name, phone, email, the areas you cover. That's it. Your homepage and service-page copy is written from these.
3. Watch it generate. Your full multi-page website builds in front of you — homepage, about, services, gallery, contact, plus dedicated pages for each service in each area you cover.

What you get straight away

• Your website, private to you, at your-business-name.mytradesite.uk — open it from your dashboard
• The dashboard with all your tools — leads, quotes, invoices, photos, social posts
• A call from Eric within one working day (9 to 6, Monday to Saturday) to go through it with you

Going live

Your site stays private until you subscribe — £99 a month, no setup fee, no contract. Once you're happy with it, press Subscribe on the Account tab and then Publish my site. A free .co.uk domain comes with the subscription; claim it from the Domain tab and Eric points it at your site.

What to do next

Once you're in the dashboard, you'll see a checklist called Make your site stand out. Tick those items off in order — they're the things that actually move the needle on Google rankings and customer trust.
