Leads & Jobs
Receiving leads on WhatsApp
When a customer fills out your contact form, you get a WhatsApp ping in seconds with their name, number, and what they need.
Most tradesmen lose work because they can't answer the phone when they're up a ladder. MyTradeSite fixes this without you needing to do anything different.
What happens when a customer enquires
- Customer visits your site and fills out your contact form.
- You get a WhatsApp message within seconds. It includes their name, phone number, the service they want, their location, and any message they wrote.
- You also get an email backup of the same enquiry — in case you miss the WhatsApp.
- The lead appears in your dashboard's Leads tab automatically, ready to quote.
Tap to call back
The WhatsApp message has the customer's number as a tappable link. Long-press it and your phone offers to call them straight back. Most customers expect a callback within an hour; if you call within 5 minutes you'll convert dramatically more.
Pipeline tracking
Every enquiry flows through these stages: New → Contacted → Quoted → Booked → Complete → Paid. You can update the stage by tapping the lead in your dashboard. The pipeline gives you a clear view of how many jobs are in the air at any time and how much money's in progress.
Where the alerts go
By default, WhatsApp alerts go to the phone number you signed up with. To change it, go to Website → Pages → Homepage and update your phone field — that's the number lead alerts ping to.
